AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has set November 22 to December 21 for filling of forms for the board exams of Classes 10 and 12 which will be held in 2022.
The board exams will be conducted from March 14 to March 30. The exams will be held in pen-and-paper format. Subject to the Covid-19 situation, a decision on online exams can be taken, GSHSEB said earlier this month while announcing the academic calendar.
Last year, the board decided to cut the syllabus by 25% due to the pandemic. This year, however, there will be no reduction in the syllabus.
The preliminary exams for Classes 10 and 12 will be conducted from January 27 to February 4.
Classes 6 to 12 re-opened at schools in a staggered manner from July 7 with strict Covid-19 restrictions in place. Attendance is not compulsory and online education continues. The government has restricted in-person school attendance to 50%.
