AHMEDABAD: With 17 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours and the discharge of 28 patients, active cases came down by 11 on Thursday, bringing the state’s tally to 182. The city recorded eight new cases and nine discharges, reducing the number of active cases by one to 60.
The new cases on Thursday included three each from Surat and Vadodara, and one each from Anand, Devbhoomi Dwarka and Rajkot. The state also recorded one death in Rajkot city, taking the toll to 10,078.Eleven districts have zero active cases, four districts have more than10 active cases. Apart from 60 in Ahmedabad district, Vadodara has 42, Surat 15 and Rajkot 13.
