AHMEDABAD: A 54-year-old man living at a tea stall in Raysan in Gandhinagar district was found murdered on Monday morning, said police officers, adding that he was hit by a blunt object on his forehead, which caused his death.

Police officers said that deceased, Sukhram Vanzara, a native of Chhota Udepur, was living with a woman named Kamu Vanzara, who owned the tea stall where Sukhram worked.

He used to sleep at the tea-stall at night after closing it every day. He had been working at the tea stall for more than two years. On Monday morning, locals discovered his body outside the stall.

Police were called to the spot and the deceased’s body was sent for a postmortem.

Infocity police registered a case of murder against unknown persons and began an investigation.

Police officers said they do not have a suspect in the case and did not find any clues from CCTV footage from cameras near the crime scene.
