The Harlem Globetrotters shoot seven new Guinness World Records

The world famous exhibition basketball team, The Harlem Globetrotters have celebrated Guinness World Records Day by achieving seven world record titles. From longest basketball shot blindfolded to longest time spinning a basketball on the nose, the Globetrotters has cleaned up this year.

The video above shows three of the most impressive records set by the team.

First up is Thunder Law who managed to score from 69 feet away blindfolded.

This was Thunder Law’s third world record.

Handles Franklin scored from a kneeling position facing away from the hoop – a distance of over 60 feet.

The picture above shows that he was delighted with his effort.

Lastly, Big Easy Lofton (who gets his nickname from his easy-going nature) scored the furthest blindfolded basketball hook shot with a spectacular 50 foot throw.

The records were broken in celebration of Guinness World Record Day on 12 November where over 650,000 people worldwide will be trying to enter the famous book.
