Guinness is recalling their new alcoholic-free version of the famous Dublin stout over safety concerns.
The St James’s Gate company said the product recall - which is only in the UK - was fuelled by concerns over microbiological contamination concern and affects just the new Guinness 0.0 drink.
Guinness said in a statement that "some cans may be unsafe to consume", urging people not to drink them but to instead return them for a full refund.
Guinness O.O was only launched in the UK three weeks ago. It's due to go on sale here in Ireland in the next few days.
The company said they had brewed the new version of their famous porter in response to growing consumer demand for lower calorie, non-alcohol beverages.
The drink is brewed at Guinness's iconic St James's Gate brewery in Dublin city centre. The stout superpower insisted that the recall "does not impact any other Guinness variants or brands".
