Guinness are giving away nearly 10,000 pints for International Stout Day

Contrary to its adverts of old, Guinness may not be good for your health – but for one day this week, it's set to be good for Londoners' wallets.

The famous Irish brewery are giving away nearly 10,000 pints of the black stuff in pubs this Thursday, November 1.

The beer behemoth are teaming up with Fuller’s pubs for the giveaway, held in celebration of International Stout Day.

Fifty pints of Guinness are being handed out at each of Fuller's 198 venues across the UK , which totals some 9900 pints. These are available on a first come, first served basis.

Customers in early enough just need to reference 'International Stout Day' at the bar of their chosen pub to receive a pint on the house.

Fuller’s run some of London's best known pubs, including the likes of the Old Bank of England, the Star Tavern and the Gun.
