What with all the kerfuffle over the Malcolm and Barbara: Love's Farewell documentary and the Deloitte phone-in scandal report, you'd have thought ITV would have been keen to update their production guidelines. But apparently not. The current publicity guidelines for external producers were last updated in October 2006, while the compliance guidelines are from October 2003. Better get a wriggle on, ITV. Remember what Michael Grade said on October 18: "Zero tolerance starts today".
