Footage appears to show several guests taking wine and champagne from empty tables at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner following the shooting on Saturday (25 April).
A suspected gunman attempted to storm the black tie event at the Washington Hilton hotel at 8:30pm, with shots fired before he was apprehended by the Secret Service.
Hundreds of reporters, gathered for the annual dinner, ducked for cover.
