The Guardian won two awards at the 2014 Amnesty International Media Awards at a ceremony held at the BFI in London on Tuesday 11 November.
The ‘National Newspapers’ award went to Pete Pattisson’s investigation, Revealed: Qatar’s World Cup ‘slaves’ and the ‘Digital Innovation’ award went to the team behind the interactive The shirt on your back: the human cost of the Bangladeshi garment industry.
The awards, which recognise excellence in human rights reporting and acknowledge journalism’s contribution to public awareness and understanding of human rights issues. See more about the awards here.
