The Guardian has been awarded three awards at The Drum’s Online Media Awards which honour the best application of talent and technology online.
The Guardian’s website received awards for best site for news-led journalism and best designed site. The Counted - an investigation revealing the true number of people killed by law enforcement in the US - was the winner in the best use of crowd-sourcing or citizen journalism category.
The Guardian was also commended in the following three categories:
Best Media Podcast - The Guardian’s Audio Long Reads
Online Editorial Campaign of the Year - Keep It In The Ground
Digital Writer of the Year - Alex Hern
