The Guardian and Guardian sports contributor Jonathan Wilson have been recognised at the 2017 Football Supporters’ Federation (FSF) awards which give football fans a “voice in celebrating success on and off the pitch”.
The Guardian was honoured with the Newspaper of the Year award for the fifth consecutive year, while Football Weekly, the Guardian’s twice-weekly dose of football-focused punditry and analysis, won Podcast of the Year.
Regular Guardian contributor Jonathan Wilson, who writes for the Guardian Sportblog and appears on the Football Weekly podcast, was named Writer of the Year.
