Slightly tardy, and with Mip-shaped bags under its eyes - it's this week's viral video chart.
Unsurprisingly, the Virginia Tech shootings feature: an NBC news report includes the killer's macabre home video messages and photos. Whether the channel was right to release the footage or not is up for debate - is this glorifying the mass murderer, or do we have a right, as Dave Winer wrote, to see all of these videos in this decentralised world of information?
Poet and Virginia Tech professor Nikki Giovanni taught the killer, Cho Seung-Hui, in a poetry class. The clip at number 13 is Giovanni performing a poem to the college in a memorial ceremony on Tuesday, the day after the massacre. Whooping aside, this is powerful, insightful stuff - from the woman that was dubbed "the black princess of poetry" in the sixties.
"No-one deserves a tragedy," she says. "We are strong, and brave, and innocent, an unafraid. We are better than we think and not quite what we want to be. We are alive to the imagination and the possibility we will continue to invent the future through our blood and tears, through all this sadness."

The viral video chart makes for some odd bedfellows, one of the oddest of which is Pearl the landlord. Will Ferrell is becoming a viral staple. I have a soft spot for him.
Another oddity is the Who cover at number five. Yep, it's British. It's a choir of pensioners called The Zimmers covering My Generation. This is a viral phenomenon in its own right and music blogger Bob Lefsetz can't get enough. And he's already been sent five links to it this week, he says.
"Novelty videos won't be the talk of the town forever. Heard anybody raving about a mashup recently? But the underlying behavior, discovering something and spreading the word...that's here to stay.
"Oh, admit it, you wanted to spread the word on the Zimmers, you wanted to be the first to tell your friends. It's people buzz that matters. And the way you create that people buzz is by empowering individuals, making them feel like they count, that they have a say, that they have an investment! And this investment begets fans. Those in on the ground floor want to wear their badge of honor at the gig, in conversation."
Quite. I'm sure the Zimmer badges are in production right now.
And there's a bit of a hoo-ha about R&B singer Akon who was filmed what I believe the kids describe as "dry-humping" a girl in a Trinidadian club. The girl turned out to be the 14-year old daughter of a pastor who wasn't rightly impressed, so someone's grounded. Akon's label Universal have sent a take-down notice to YouTube to get rid of all the copies of the video, even though the video was filmed and posted by someone at the gig.
Odds on the video repeatedly being posted until Universal gives in?
