Guardian Viral Video Chart

It's a fairly typical orgy of vomit, torture and piracy on this week's Viral Video Chart, kicked off by a very professional Swedish gameshow presenter chucking up live on air. Classy stuff.

Our plucky presenter, mid-way through inviting callers to guess the word, winces slightly and then projectile vomits. I'd like to say off camera, but it isn't. No chance of any TV fakery here.

"Well, this is live TV, and I've got period pains," she said, delicately wiping beads of vomit from her cheek. I wondered why someone else could not have stepped in to cover for her if she felt ill, but judging by the way a tissue is thrown at her from off camera, it could be that the cameraman was the only other person in the studio.

The caller, I am reliably told, incorrectly guessed the answer as the Swedish word for "idiot".

Respect to Feist at 6 for showing how to do a great one-take music video without taking yourself too seriously. All you need is a trip to American Apparel, a bunch of mates and (admittedly it gets harder at this point) a camera on a crane.

Not dissimilar to the Spice Girls' Wannabe video, only with a decent song, better clothes and without the annoying women. So it's probably just the one take thing, on reflection.

I've clocked up some serious viral video hours in this chart but this is the best domino-effect video ever. That's all you need to know.

Oklahoma State University's American football coach Mike Gundy got a fair amount of US press attention this week after taking objection to a newspaper column that laid in to one of his players. He described the piece in The Oklahoman as inaccurate, unfairly kicked player Bobby Reid when he was down and said the piece made him embarrassed to be involved with athletics.

"Whoever wrote this piece has obviously never had a child, had a child that has had their heart broken and had to deal with that child," he rants, and then tails off into Daily Mailiness. I feel I should point out that the aforementioned "child" is 21 and 6'3".

"Why do people have to write things like this? If you want to have a go, have a go at me - I'm a grown man. I'm 40. Where are we at in society?"

That's all I've got to say," he says, storming out. "It makes me want to puke."

Oh please no!
