Guardian US wins Amnesty International Media Award

The Guardian US has won the 2015 Amnesty International Media Award in Digital Innovation for The Counted. Journalists Jon Swaine, Oliver Laughland and Jamiles Lartey were honored at this year’s awards ceremony, which took place at Milton Court in London on Thursday, November 26.

Amnesty’s coveted awards recognize excellence in human rights reporting and journalism’s contribution to public awareness of human rights issues.
