Guardian US experienced its highest month in terms of total unique views, resulting in a second-time ranking in the top 20 of all US news and information sites, according to the latest report released by comScore.
Up nearly 23% from a year ago, Guardian US saw 35.9 million visitors across all platforms, indicating an exceptionally strong growth rate.
Ranking #16 with the coveted millennial audience, the Guardian’s growth was the second highest among all top 20 news and information sites with the 18-34 demographic.
Features and long reads drove April’s traffic, including an exclusive interview with Monica Lewinsky as part of the Guardian’s the Web We Want series, as well as an in-depth feature about a lesbian community in the California desert. Continued election coverage and analysis of pop culture news, including Beyonce’s Lemonade and Prince’s death were also highly read.
