File this one under shameless self-promotion, but the shortlist for the Webby awards - Oscars of the interblahblahblah - is out, and the Guardian is lucky enough to have three nominations.
Not only are we up for Best Newspaper (which we have won two years in a row), but Comment is Free is nominated in the best political blog category and our podcasts are in there up against NPR, the Onion and others.
I would like to think it's my ill-informed rambling on Science Weekly that made the difference. I would like to think it, but it's plainly wrong.
