Tony Blair has begun a day-long tour of the country revealing Labour's six-entry "pledge card" to voters ahead of the forthcoming general election. The pledges so far are:
1. Your family better off
2. Your family treated better and faster
3. Your child achieving more
As a colleague commented this morning, what is it the Labour party has against verbs? Anyway, it's compare-and-contrast time as we dig out the party's old pledge card, and politics editor Tom Happold is at Labour's spring conference to bring you the latest on the speeches, plus news of protests by two very different groups - pro-hunt campaigners and Fathers 4 Justice.
On the world news front we're following events in Pakistan, where hundreds are missing after a dam burst, and Iraq, where insurgents opened fire on a crowd at a bakery in Baghdad, killing 11.
We'll also have a piece by Gillian Sandford on a landmark attempt by descendants of Polish Jews whose property was stolen by Nazis to secure compensation from the Polish government.
And, don't tell Polly Toynbee, but we'll be testing your memories with a trivia quiz on royal marriages. Must go, have to pick out a frock for the big day.
