Earlier this year, we ran our first ever summer school for young people. Over the course of five days, our brilliant students wrote a selection of articles, with guidance from top Guardian journalists such as columnist Stuart Heritage, investigative journalist Shiv Malik, Observer magazine deputy editor Emma John, and many other expert tutors.
Have a browse through the front pages created by our attendees (believe it or not, all of our writers were between 16 and 19 years’ old!). Their stories covered everything from politics to feminism, film and literature – and we were amazed what they produced in the space of a few days at Guardian headquarters.
We’re currently working hard on the next instalment of Guardian Summer School so keep an eye on our website for further dates.
