Guardian readers' World Cup posters

Bergkamp
If you remember the 1998 World Cup in France, then you remember Dennis Bergkamp’s goal for the Holland in the quarter-final against Argentina. The score was 1-1 in the 90th minute, and extra time looked almost certain. Until Bergkamp produced his moment of magic.

Sensible
The National Football Museum in Manchester held a 'Design Derby' World Cup print fair this summer and thankfully my nod to Sensible Soccer's 16-bit aesthetic made the shortlist and helped form the exhibition.

Roy
I dislike the martial paraphernalia that appears when we scrape into an international tournament, so I apologise for parodying a propaganda poster. But Uncle Roy seems to be a decent fellow doing the best job he can in cobbling together the somewhat limited materials available. For that, I feel he fully deserves our support.

Pelé
This painting is about Pelé's beautiful game. The beauty of fair play is depicted in glorious colours. All 22 players feature with disproportionate sizes giving a feel of space and movement. Pitch markings are also visible and the teams are defined by the red and blue lips.

Injuries
It wouldn't be the World Cup without a few injury scares. I've included some injuries obtained en route to the finals, like Terry Butcher but also players who probably would have made it that year barring injury: Jimmy Greaves in 1966, Gary Neville in 2002, Ledley King in 2006, Ashley Cole in 2010 and Theo Walcott in 2014.

monkeys
In support of Neymar and Dani Alves and their campaign #weareallmonkeys (and with the help of a quite famous banana) here's a poster encouraging all World Cup teams and their fans to say no to discrimination in football.
