Guardian Focus podcast: Libya's future

A new Libya is emerging from the ashes of civil war.

But after 40 years of rule by Muammar Gadaffi's regime, establishing political and economic stability will not be easy. In this week's Focus podcast, Hugh Muir assesses where Libya is now and explores the options for the country for peace and prosperity.

Guma el Gamaty, the UK representative of Libya's ruling National Transitional Council, tells Hugh how the new prime minister Abdel-Rahim al-Keeb is the right man for the job. Lord Trefgarne, chairman of the Libyan British Business Council, discusses opportunities for foreign investment.

Hugh is joined by Middle East editor Ian Black; foreign correspondent Ghaith Abdul-Ahad, who was held prisoner in a Tripoli jail before the fall of the Gadaffi regime; and Saad Essedeg from Libya Relief, one of the most prominent Libyan activists in the UK.
