He first came to United Kingdom from his native Jamaica in 1948 after the Second World War when he was 29 years old. Though he lived his long life in different destinations. The Unknown: Herbert A Silcock, Southport. Mr Herbert A Silcock is now 85 years old and he's a happy man. He's proud because Herbert is the successor of the Silcocks family that created this fair 150 years ago.
