II: Merryfield Park - WWII army base. There were probably around 50 buildings such as this one, formerly used for protect the country, now just empty shells

III: It was hard to imagine what the site was like over 60 years previous during the war, but the cold concrete structures don't present a warm invitation

V: We crept around, not sure if we were welcome, but fairly confident that the army generals were long gone

VI: The atmosphere and content of the whole site was a lot to take in, but the details were fascinating

IX: This hut had some intriguing contents as if it had been used as a nursery in years gone by, but evidently wasn't the safest place for a child
