Man Walking on Angel Lane Bridge, Stratford. The Angel Lane Bridge is one of the new constructions stretching between the Athlete´s Village and Stratford´s residential area. According to the Olympic Delivery Authority, it was built as a replacement of its old Victorian predecessor in order to carry a greater capacity of vehicles and pedestrians during the 2012 Games. However, in the days of the Olympics - while I was shooting my project "Without a Ticket" and had to cross the bridge every day - Angel Lane proved to be one of the calmest and most abandoned spaces of the Olympic Area. Only a few walkers, cyclists, and official cars casually broke the silence.Photograph: Peter Barta/flickrCarpenter´s Estate, Stratford.
