1. Student Housing. Broadcasting Towers Leeds - a student housing block in the city that was named one of the best 4 towers erected in 2010 alongside such names as: the Burj Khalifa in Dubai which, at 828m, is more than 11 times higher than Broadcasting Place; the 163m Pinnacle@Duxton in Singapore and the 366m Bank of America tower in New York. To appreciate the surface sunny days are needed - loved or hated there is no doubt it is one fo the few iconic buildings in Leeds Photograph: Paul Dishman/Flickr2. Student Housing. 4. On the site of what was originally the BBC headquarters this plaque was preserved as a link from the new to the old Photograph: Paul Dishman/Flickr5. Designed to rust and not show it`s age graffiti artists have to scour the surface to leave their mark rather than spray paint it Photograph: Paul Dishman/Flickr6. Unforeseen? All around the building the impact of the elements is clear. Whilst the surface just rusts up some more with rain a brown line forms wherever there is a rusty overhang when water drips down Photograph: Paul Dishman/Flickr
