Bournemouth Beach huts: Would have liked to see this in realistic colour, not in black and white, don't see why it needs the red added and can't see how HDR process has actually added to the photograph. Like the way it's shot square on with the bank behind Photograph: Laura Phillips1

man and boy: Compostition is strong but again, the post production could be more subtle to produce a more natural effect Photograph: Laura Phillips1

reaching: Good idea to use photoshop to saturate blues and increase contrast, thus giving the photograph more punch but this is overcooked. The shapes created by the vegetation work well against the soft edged clouds. Compostion could be better, I'd like to see the plants on the right and left IN the frame Photograph: Laura Phillips 1
