Guardian Camera Club: JamesMilena's portfolio review

Fan tunnel: Inside the fan tunnel of a corn store. White balance set to "cloudy" to give the candle light colours. We don't normally pump our colour up quite this far on the paper, but it's quite appealing to some of us with fading eyesight. I'm not sure how well these pictures hang together as a set, perhaps with such strong images more thought should have gone into keeping the post production work within the same parameters. Derelict House 2: Abandoned house in the Lincolnshire fens. HDR. I would have quite liked to have seen this shot a straight way with less HDR effect, it kind of jars when placed with the other pictures Photograph: JamesMilena/flickr
