George: George boxed for the army then went on to become both a Parachute Regiment and Royal Marine Commando PTI. He was also part of a Parachute Regiment PTI gymnastics team that travelled the world scaring people with their daredevil antics. ..The picture he's holding was taken at the top of a Philadelphia skyscraper that he jumped off, via a death-slide, onto a foam mat resting on a tank. After he didn't unbuckle the safety harness (because there wasn't one) he was asked to pose for a picture with Sonny & Cher...Leaving the army as a physiotherapist, he went on to work under several managers at Tottenham Hotspurs. Despite being in retirement he cannot sit still. As I am writing this he is either cutting down some woodland or running up a mountain. George says, "Just bloody do it...".
