Guardian Camera Club: Anthony Davies on capturing movement

Homeless: Photographed under Southwark Bridge the light level was low. I wanted to capture the homeless man being ignored by passers-by, (many were Sport Relief participants), while at the same time letting the viewer share his experience of the constant blur of passing legs

Sport Relief Mile: I wanted to capture that its not so much a race but a fun event with an interaction between the spectators and runners. These two girls were photographing the event on their mobile phones

Waiting: As well as the obvious movement of the underground train, it is also indicated by the hair being blown by the train’s onward rush

Skateboarder: Attempting to maintain his balance at the moment he is about to lose control of his board

Mind the gap: Photographed at Temple underground station, these two young women, carrying Sport Relief hula hoops, making a dash as the train doors started to close
