Guard Ethan Pocic could be available this week against Browns

The Seattle Seahawks were fortunate to enjoy a mini bye after their Week 5 win over the Los Angeles Rams and returned for a short, bonus practice Monday afternoon.

Coach Pete Carroll wasn’t able to give a full rundown yet on Seattle’s injuries, but he did have some updates on a few players who could be resuming practice.

Guard Ethan Pocic, who has missed the last three outings with a mid-back injury, could return in time to face the Browns on Sunday.

“He’ll practice this week, he’ll practice this week and we’ll see what happens,” coach Pete Carroll told reporters. “He has to make it through the work. And really Thursday’s practice will be the big-tell for him. So we won’t know anything until Friday.”

With Pocic out last week, Jamarco Jones was called up Thursday when guard D.J. Fluker left the matchup early in the game.

The Seahawks have an off day Tuesday before their regular work week kicks off on Wednesday.
