Guard D.J. Fluker sitting out Wednesday practice with hamstring injury

The Seattle Seahawks might be without a starting member of the offensive line this Sunday when they travel to Cleveland to face the Browns.

Right guard D.J. Fluker, who left the Week 5 matchup against the Rams early with a hamstring injury, will not practice on Wednesday.

“Fluke’s got a hamstring that we are working on,” coach Pete Carroll said during his press conference. “He can’t practice right now, he’s not ready to go.”

Fluker’s backup, Ethan Pocic, has also been battling a recent injury – missing the last three outings due to stiffness in his midback. Pocic, however, is set to resume practice this week.

When Fluker exited the game Thursday night with Pocic on the sidelines, tackle Jamarco Jones jumped in in relief and actually logged a decent game for his first shot at playing the guard position.

If Fluker is not able to make it back his week and Pocic is once again unavailable on game day, Jones could be getting another shot at right guard for Seattle.
