'GTA 6' Leak Reveals New Gameplay Footage, Leonida Map and 'Commandments' From Leaker

"Grand Theft Auto 6" has already been discussed across various gaming communities. It is anticipated to be the biggest game release of the year. Of course, fans are hyped for a new "GTA" game after over a decade.

Then, there's a fresh leak about the upcoming game.

Not every leaked file can be confirmed as authentic. However, Rockstar's reported DMCA takedown requests have added credibility to at least some of the material.

The person or group claiming responsibility is known as Cyberleek. Alongside the alleged leaks, Cyberleek has published a list of unusual demands directed at Rockstar and other major game publishers.

'GTA 6' Leaker Publishes Three 'Commandments'

Cyberleek shared three demands on social media. They were presented as "commandments" for Rockstar and other publishers.

The demands focus heavily on how companies handle digital games and single-player content. They include:

  • Not selling digital preorders.
  • Not selling what the leaker calls fake single-player DLC.
  • Preserving single-player content.

Cyberleek also suggested that these demands are only the minimum expected from publishers. The group reportedly threatened to release additional information if companies do not comply.

'GTA 6' Footage Shows Jason Playing Basketball

One of the leaked "GTA 6" clips reportedly features Jason at home playing basketball.

The footage is relatively short. It reportedly shows a modified version of the game's HUD and a tutorial explaining how the basketball minigame works.

The clip appears to come from a development build. Some viewers have suggested that the version shown may be considerably older than the build Rockstar is preparing for launch.

If authentic, the footage could provide an early look at how Rockstar is expanding GTA 6's activities beyond its main story and open-world exploration.

Jason Driving and Fighting in Another Leak

Another reported video focuses on Jason while he is driving through Leonida.

The sequence takes an unexpected turn after Jason crashes into several vehicles. He then gets into a confrontation with a delivery driver.

The fight eventually attracts police attention.

The clip reportedly shows several systems working together. Driving, hand-to-hand combat, NPC interactions, and police responses all appear within the same sequence.

As with the other material, its authenticity has not been independently confirmed.

GTA 6 Leonida Map Appears Online

A map reportedly showing GTA 6's fictional Leonida setting has also surfaced. Its origins are less certain.

According to GameSpot, the map could potentially be connected to Rockstar's development material. It could also be a fan-made creation based on previously known information.

That makes the map one of the more difficult pieces of the leak to verify.

"Grand Theft Auto 6" is scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Physical versions are expected to use download codes rather than traditional game discs. However, Take-Two Interactive has not completely ruled out a conventional disc release.

'GTA 6' Release Date and Upcoming Showcase

The reported leaks arrive as interest in "GTA 6" continues to build ahead of its planned release.

An extended "GTA 6" showcase is scheduled to debut on Netflix on August 27. The presentation is expected to offer fans a closer look at the game and its features.
