'Grown up' Bars and Melody stun BGT fans as they return after five years

Britain's Got Talent act Bars and Melody left viewers stunned as they returned to the show after five years away.

Singers Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan appeared on the stage today to sing their own song Here Comes The Sun.

The boys first sang on the show in 2014 and were sent straight through to the semi-final as Simon Cowell pressed his golden buzzer.

They finished third behind Collabro and Lucy Kay, but their audition video went on to be the most viewed BGT audition ever with 200million views.

And fans were shocked to see the pair back on stage and looking so much older.

One tweeted: "Holey s***! Are these the same guys! #BarsAndMelody #BGTChampions."

While another commented: "Bars and Melody OMG I feel like I've aged 23 years? HOW do they look like this I'm so shook #BGTChampions."

A third remarked: "Wowsers Bars and Melody look a helluva lot different from when they first stepped foot onto the @BGT stage in 2014!!! #BGTChampions."

Even though they didn't win in 2014, the duo signed a £500,00 record deal with Simon Cowell's record label Syco and released Hopeful in July 2014.

The pair went onto have huge success in Japan, touring in Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya.
