"Growing concerns" for missing Paisley teen as police appeal for help to trace 14-year-old

Police have launched an appeal to the public to help trace a missing 14-year-old girl.

Renfrewshire Police have “growing concerns” over missing Stephanie Murdoch.

Stephanie, 14, was last seen about 5.30pm in the Ferguslie Park area of Paisley on Tuesday, January 11.

Stephanie is described as being of white Scottish ethnicity, 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build, with long blonde hair and blue eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a grey jumper, a black body warmer, black leggings and black trainers.

Police Constable Gardner from Paisley Police Station said: “We have growing concerns for Stephanie and as time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“Anyone who may have seen Stephanie or has any information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0124 of 12/01/2022.”
