Missing West Lothian teenager found 'safe and well'

A West Lothian teenager who was missing for over 12 hours has been found "safe and well".

Ross McPhee was reported missing when he failed to return to his home in Bathgate, after leaving in the early hours of the morning on Sunday (3 November).

Police launched a search for the 14-year-old amid growing concern for his welfare. However, police have confirmed that the teenager has now been traced.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are pleased to report that 14 year old Ross McPhee, who was reported missing from Bathgate has been found safe & well. Thanks to everyone who shared our appeal."

Anyone who may have seen Ross since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0105 3rd November 2019.
