Growing concern for missing woman who vanished from home on Friday

have issued an appeal for help in tracing a missing woman.

Emma McLaughlin was last seen around 9pm on Friday, 20 December within her home just off the Main Street in Bridge of Weir.

The 32-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 5 and of slim build with shoulder length, dark brown coloured hair, with a block fringe.

She was last seen wearing a dark green coloured parka style jacket with a hood, navy coloured denim jeans and green coloured Nike trainers.

Constable Lauren Green, Renfrew Police Office, said: “We are growing concerned for Emma who has been away from home all night. We are speaking to those who know her to try and trace her and make sure she is okay.

“If anyone knows where Emma is, we would ask you to get in touch with police as soon as possible. Emma, if you see this, please let us or somebody know you are safe.”

Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 1899 of Saturday 21 December 2019.

Update: Emma McLaughlin has been found safe and well.
