Charlotte Redmond found safe after being reported missing from West Lothian

A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing from West Lothian has been found safe and well.

Charlotte Redmond, who is also known as Charley, was last seen leaving an address in Whitburn at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Police said they had concerns for her welfare and that she may have travelled to Glasgow.

Following a public appeal, Police Scotland announced she had been found in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The force said: "Charlotte ‘Charley’ Redmond who had been reported missing from the Whitburn area has now been traced safe and well. We would like to thank the public for their help with the appeal."
