Growing concern for Glasgow-born mum missing since Thursday

A search has been launched for a woman who has been missing since Thursday.

Glasgow-born Hilary Woolley , 49, left her home, which is close to Robinson Way, Burbage, at 1pm on June 27.

She failed to return and was reported missing,

Leicestershire Police have been carrying out enquiries to find Hilary, with the last confirmed sighting of her at a store in Wolvey Road, Burbage, around 1pm on Thursday.

The mum-of-two is white, of large build, around 5ft tall, with shoulder length ginger hair.

Officers believe Hilary may be in the Glasgow area of Scotland and prior to that she may have been in the New Street area of Birmingham on Saturday (June 29).

In a statement, a spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: "Hilary has never been missing before, as each day of no news or sightings goes by we and Hilary’s family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

"She is known to have connections in the Daventry area of Northamptonshire, as well as Dunbar, Scotland. We are carrying out enquiries in those force areas and have circulated the appeal for Hilary across the country.

"If you can help in any way, whether you saw her a few days ago or you have any suspicions about where she may be now, then please get in touch."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 705 of 27 June 2019.
