Police are warning Brighton Park residents about several robberies reported in October and November.

In each case, a group of suspects approached someone and demanded property, Chicago police said in a community alert. In two cases food delivery employees were targeted.

The robberies happened:

  • At 9:27 p.m. Oct. 23 in the 2500 block of West 45th Place
  • At 7:38 p.m. Nov. 5 in the 4300 block of South Mozart Street
  • At 9:01 p.m. Nov. 7 in the 4200 block of South Francisco Avenue
  • At 9:34 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 4200 block of South Sacramento Avenue

In one case, the suspects were two males 18 to 19-years old, police said. Both were 5-foot-8 and 110 pounds. One had blonde hair and was last seen with a red hoodie and black clothing. The other was bald, wore a black hoodie and was armed with a handgun.

Suspects in another case were three males 15 to 18-years-old, police said. One of them was 5-foot-11. In a third case, five males standing 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 were described. They had a slim-to-medium build.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact Area Central detectives at 312-747-8382.
