Groupon extends expiration dates due to coronavirus

So you bought a Groupon to get a massage and another one to get drinks and now those feel worth less than their discount.

In order to let customers stay isolated and avoid spreading COVID-19, Groupon is extending the expiration dates for select Groupons for up to one year, according to a message from the company's CEO, Rich Williams.

The Chicago-based company is actively reaching out to customers who have had events and deals canceled in the wake of the outbreak. Customers who receive an exchange or a refund will also get a promo code for $10 good for one year toward the purchase of their next Groupon.

Customers with questions should visit groupon.com/support.
