Queenie by Jacqueline Wilson

Jacqueline Wilson, Queenie

It has a heart-warming story. It also helps people understand that a cat can be a girl's best friend. Jacqueline Wilson also writes really, really good books which relate to life, especially Jacky Daydream (her autobiography). I would recommend Queenie to a person who is looking for a heart-warming book and who is aged between 9 and 100.

My Sister Jodie by Jacqueline Wilson

Jacqueline Wilson, My Sister Jodie

My Sister Jodie is an excellent book. It is packed with mystery and adrenalin rush, and has a lot of typically funny characters. Especially "Old Frenchie", but you'll have to read it to find out who she is! Also it is kind of melancholic, but that does not stop it being a good book. I would recommend it to girly girls or just anyone really if they wanted a funny, happy truthful book. Aged 10 to infinity

The Diamond Girls by Jacqueline Wilson

Jacqueline Wilson, The Diamond Girls

The sisters are really funny but sometimes can be a bit cruel to each other. It also uses high level words that really get the readers attention. I would recommend this to a friend who was looking for a heart-warming, fun-filled book.

The Worst Thing About my Sister by Jacqueline Wilson

Jacqueline Wilson, The Worst Thing About My Sister

I really enjoyed this book because it is very interesting. It is about two sisters who have different interests and never get along, but will it always be this way?

I would recommend this book to a friend who enjoys reading funny, sad and happy books! I can't pick a favourite character because they both have similar characteristics to me, for example, Melissa likes the colour pink and Marty likes drawing. I think the book is suitable for ages 8 to 15.

Dork Diaries by Rachel Renee Russell

Rachel Renee Russell, Dork Diaries

I like this book because it's got typical high school drama that you can actually relate to with friends, crushes and mean girls. It also tells you that not all girls are rich and popular, especially if you are a new kid. There is a lot of funny pictures explaining what is going on. If you are looking for something funny with amazing drama, this is it. I would recommend this book to girly girls aged between 11 and 15.

The Lost Twin by Sophie Cleverly

Sophie Cleverly, The Lost Twin (Scarlet and Ivy, Book 1)

This is a book I really enjoyed. It was an interesting book because Ivy tries to go on an adventure to find her twin sister, Scarlet, who went missing from her boarding school. I would recommend this book to people who like adventure stories as it has many adventures. My favourite character is Ariadne because she understood Ivy and supported her in her mission to find Scarlet.

Dork Diaries: Holiday Heartbreak by Rachel Renee Russell

Rachel Renee Russell, Dork Diaries: Holiday Heartbreak

This book is about when Nikki Maxwell has a crush on Brandon. Mackenzie, who always have to come and ruin things, is really mean. She is always ruining things for Brandon and Nikki, and the special dance is coming up.

I like this book because it is very nice and the character talks about her life and that is a good thing. Nikki is my favourite character because she can solve problems. I recommend this book for ages 10 to 16.

Another Life by Keren David

Keren David, Another Life

A tremor of Sty's truth, and how he ended up in jail. A great book for teenagers to know how life is to be a gangster. In addition to this it gives a moral to people of what happens to you if you deal with knives and drugs.

Almost True by Keren David

Keren David, Almost True

Almost True is a great action and thriller book. In my opinion it is mainly aimed at teenagers. It is suitable for people at the age of 10-15. Keren David made it a great action book and it hooks the reader. To me the whole series is very significant, but I enjoyed this one the most due to the fact there is a mystery and you don't know much about the main character.
