This book is about a girl called Issie and she adores horses. Issie has a horse of her own called Blaze.

She has planned a whole Summer with her friends Dan, Kate, Ben and Stella but unfortunately Issie’s Mum has to go away for two weeks. As a result, Issie has to stay at her Aunts farm instead!

However when Issie finds out that her favourite horse Blaze can come too… Things get more exciting!

This book is about a boy called Tomas who didn’t believe in unicorns but after he heard a story… He believed.

I Believe In Unicorns needs to be bought for every library, school and home so that children can read this book and experience its magic for themselves.

Born Again Ben by Rob Sprackling

reviewed by Ryan

Born Again Ben is about a boy named Ben who was a bit of a bully. Ben always bullied others until one day he was run over by the number 94 bus. Ben was ‘born again’ firstly as a cockroach and then a frog, gorilla, and finally a budgie.

I think this book would be suitable for 7 + years as I don’t think children under that age children would understand it. You would like this book if you like an adventure!

I am giving this book five stars because it is funny and adventurous and I think lots of people would laugh and love it.

Spacejackers by Huw Powell

reviewed by Brad

Space Jackers

Spacejackers is about a boy called Jack whose Dad dies in an unknown accident. Jack is taken by a citizen to a station (it doesn’t say where) and gets looked after by beings called cybermonks.

I’d recommend to anyone who likes slow going adventure stories. It should probably be read by children aged 9 +

Unfortunately this book only has ONE illustration, which didn’t give me a great image in my head.

However the descriptions gave the most amazing pictures but I think there could be some more action a little bit of the time. Luckily it has the creativity of any other fantasy story and then multiply it!

Rating: 9/10
