Magic Mates and the Moody Monday by Jane West

Magic Mates and the Moody Monday by Jane West

This book is about a group of girls at school who go to their PE lesson. They are really tired because their gym teacher works them too hard and he is really mean to everyone. But the teacher has a secret talent – he can knit!! I liked everything about this book as the series is so good. Meena is my favourite character because her personality is like mine – she likes shopping and is a very girly girl! Any reader from aged 7-13 would enjoy this series of books because the girls in the books are between those ages. I give this book 5/5 because it is so fun to read.

Forget Me Not by Anne Cassidy

Forget Me Not by Anne Cassidy

This book is about a baby who is stolen from her cot many years ago and a young girl's Mother who is involved. Then another child is taken in the present and the stories run alongside each other. I loved the fact that there were loads of plot twists in the story. My favourite character was the Mother because she was portrayed with lots of emotion. I would definitely recommend this book and would pass it on to readers aged 12+. I give this book a 4/5 rating.

Daizy Star and the Pink Guitar by Cathy Cassidy

Daizy Star and the Pink Guitar by Cath Cassidy

The book is about a girl called Daizy and her family. Her Dad wants to go to Malawi to build schools and teach the children there but the rest of the family are dead set against this idea. All Daizy wants to do is discover her talent and play her pink guitar. Becca is my favourite character – she is Daizy's sister. I like her because she loves rock music and she has a nice side when she helps her sister. I loved this story and what happens in it. I would recommend this book to lots of readers my age because it is easy to read and a very good story. I give this 4/5.

Point Blanc by Anthony Horowitz

Point Blanc by Anthony Horowitz

A teenager called Alex Rider works for MI6 and he has been put on a new mission where he must become the son of a rich family who has been expelled from school. He is sent to Point Blanc Academy to find out what secret the academy is hiding. I love Alex because he is just a teenager but gets to work for a government agency and go on secret missions which would be really exciting. I like how in the book there is so much suspense and you can never guess what is going to happen. I would recommend this to readers who like suspense books or just a great book which keeps you reading. 5/5!

Doom Rider by David Gatward

David Gatward, Doom Rider

Doom Rider is about a boy who has lived lots of lives but in every one of them dies before his 13th birthday. But this time it is different and he is the only one who can save the world. This time he survives and his life changes a lot! My favourite character has to be Seth because he is mysterious and strange. I like the fact that the book has so much suspense and keeps me wanting to read more. There is lots of detail so it is taking me a little while to read it but I am enjoying it. I would recommend this to my Dad because he loves books like this and I give this book 4/5.
