An Irish woman has gone viral on TikTok after showing off her receipt from Ireland's 'first night of freedom' on Saturday.
Pubs, restaurants and nightclubs across the country were allowed to open past 8pm for the first time since before Christmas, while all restrictions on crowd sizes and social distancing were also done away with as Ireland got back to a sense of normality.
For some, that meant a quiet night in or a nice dinner with friends.
For others, it meant an absolute session - including Megan Farrell.
Megan headed along to the Pauty Central in Clondalkin just before 5pm on Saturday - Dublin Live report.
And in her time there, she and (presumably) some friends managed to rack up an astonishing bill worth €450.70!
Among the orders were:
- 26 pints of Guinness
- Some Cajun fries
- Two steak sandwiches
- Six cocktails
Megan took to TikTok to show off the receipt, captioning it "our first night of freedom in Ireland."
The clip has been viewed over 200,000 times on the platform so far - and Megan even said it was just the "first bill" of the night, suggesting that there could even have been more to follow!
