A 'group of youths' blasted a fire extinguisher at an innocent man as he waited at a bus stop in Salford.
The incident happened as the man waited at a stop at the junction of Liverpool Road and Lord's Street in Cadishead last Thursday evening (September 1). The youths have been identified, police said.
Officers now want to speak to the man who was targeted. Police said the group had 'caused a few issues over the past few weeks'.

They will 'shortly be visiting a cell', they added in a post on the GMP Eccles, Cadishead, Barton & Irlam Facebook page. In full, the post said: "On 01/09/2022 at around 20:00 a group of youths have fired a fire extinguisher over a member of public, who was innocently waiting at the bus stop. This was at the junction of Lord Street, Liverpool Road in Cadishead.
"We've identified all the youths involved, as they also committed other offences. We would like to identify the Gentlemen who these youths targeted and we'd kindly ask that you get in touch via salfordsouthwest@gmp.police.uk.
"We will not tolerate anti-social behaviour and we would encourage members of community to report such incidents, so that we are able to respond appropriately. This group have caused a few issues over the past few weeks and will shortly be visiting a cell."
