Group of women wrestle for bridal bouquet stuck in chandelier at wedding in Limerick

This hilarious footage shows the moment a group of women wrestle over the bridalbouquet at an Irish wedding.

The guests were celebrating the marriage of Stephen and Stacey Williams at The Inn at Dromoland in Limerick city.

Stacey decided to proceed with the tradition of throwing a bouquet of flowers over her shoulders into a crowd of waiting ladies.

The tradition is said to bring good luck to the person who catches the bouquet but, unfortunately for guests at the Williams' wedding, the flowers ended up being caught in a chandelier.

After a brief moment of laughter, the women launched into action, standing on tables and chairs to try and reach the bouquet.

They are seen pushing and shoving in their attempts to sabotage each other for the prize.

In the end, one brave soul emerges from the crowd as champion after she is lifted up by another guest and subsequently gets her hands on the flowers.

It's fair to say this wedding looked like mighty craic... there really is nothing like an Irish wedding!
