A group of travellers have arrived on a patch of open ground on the edge of a Wirral industrial estate.
Around eight caravans and a few Transit-style vans were visible on waste ground in the Bromborough Pool area.
It is believed the group arrived on the site some time on Monday evening.
Wirral Council indicated the travellers in question were on private land, although it is not clear who it belongs to.
It is not known if this is the same group who have been travelling around various sites in Wirral, including most recently at New Brighton, as well as Seacombe and Leasowe Common.
According to social media reports, travellers have also occupied the Bromborough site before.
