Group of 13 men 'surround and intimidate' two women in north inner city laneway

A group of up to 13 men are alleged to have surrounded and intimidated two women in a laneway in the north inner city.

The alleged incident took place last night and is understood to be linked to a property dispute.

The men trespassed in the laneway at around 8:50pm and attempted to remove personal property it's been claimed.

One of the women told Dublin Live: "The men were quite intimidating. They had myself and the woman I was with surrounded."

The brave women stood their ground and eventually the group of men left the area.

A garda spokesman confirmed to Dublin Live they attended the scene after receiving reports of a group of men trespassing in the laneway.

He added: "Gardai attended the scene but no persons were present at the time. Enquiries are continuing."
