Police have fined a dozen people after finding them hiding in the back room of a restaurant playing dominoes.
Body-worn camera footage shows police speaking to the owner of the restaurant in Tower Hamlets, east London, after discovering the breach of Tier 4 rules.
The owner told police it was only workers in the building.
But after they entered the premises they saw a group of people emerging from a back room.
The owner sends them back into the darkened room and tells them to come out one by one.
He can also be heard in the clip telling police: "A lot of these youngsters, they don't have a mask on and they're playing dominoes."
Under the current lockdown rules restaurants in Tier 4 are allowed to stay open for delivery and takeaways only but the Government advises people to stay home unless a journey is essential.
All 12 people found in the restaurant were issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice.
The restaurant owner could face action as the police has referred the business to Tower Hamlets Council which could impose a fine.
Chief Inspector Pete Shaw, from the Central East BCU said: "The rules under Tier 4 are in place to keep all of us safe, and they do not exempt people from gathering to play games together in basements.
"The fact that these people hid from officers clearly shows they knew they were breaching the rules and have now been fined for their actions."
