A young groom has been criticised online after images from his wedding day showed him turning up to the church in just a pair of jeans and a T-shirt.
Violet Price, from Doncaster, posted footage of her glamorous ‘best friend', 16-year-old Catherine Nicholson getting married on video platfrom TikTok - a clip that's since been watched more than 1.5 million times.
Some cast doubts over the whirlwind nature of the couple's relationship - they'd apparently only been together a few months - but many were more concerned over her intended's casual attire at the altar.

Opting for a black t-shirt from the streetwear brand Palm Angels, along with grey washed jeans and trainers, the unnamed groom drew a lot of flak from social media users, reports Yorkshire Live.
One person asked: "Did he not know he was getting married?"

A third commented on how stunning Catherine looked in her more traditional get-up - a white dress and long lace train - saying: "I would've done a U-turn as soon as I saw him.

Violet however was accepting none of it, and hit back at the trolls who called into question her friend’s happiness, posting: "For God's sake stop.
"She's not bothered what way he dressed - she's married and that's all that matters."
