A man who is preparing to get married has been branded "disrespectful" for not allowing children at his wedding. The groom-to-be has implemented a 'no children' rule for his wedding day to make sure the day runs smoothly.
However, his brother and sister-in-law have expressed their outrage towards his stance, claiming he is being selfish for not allowing their rainbow baby to join in on the celebrations. Venting to Reddit, the man said: "We've decided the wedding is going to be childfree. No hate towards children just to keep it more organised and contained. My brother and his wife have a three-year-old son who everyone calls 'miracle' or 'rainbow' baby. He came after several failed pregnancies that lasted for years.

"When they found out that my nephew was included in the no children rule; they tried to convince me to make an exception for him."
Not wanting to take no for an answer, his brother tried to convince him to make an exception for his nephew.
"He told me his son is a miracle baby and his presence at the wedding will bring 'blessings' for me and my fiancée," he added.
"I refused and said no, the wedding is childfree.
"His wife kept sending my fiancée pictures of my nephew when he was months old. I told them no, and to stop.
"My brother told me this might cause a rift in our relationship, I again said no and explained that the wedding is childfree.

"He asked again and pointed out how his baby is different since he's a rainbow, a miracle baby. I again said no and explained that the wedding is childfree."
He went on to explain how he invited his brother and his family over for dinner - but knowing he would bring up the fact his son isn't invited to the wedding, the groom-to-be devised a plan to make sure the message got through to him.
He added: "They brought it up when they visited at my home and I knew they weren't going to stop so I'd made flashcards in advance."
As soon as his brother brought up the wedding, the groom-to-be slowly pulled out the flashcards - showing him four in total with stickers attached to each of them.
Featuring a sticker of a bride a groom, the first card read: "The wedding," and was followed with another reading: "Is child", with a sticker of a baby.
Then in large bold letters, the third read: "FREE", with a sticker of a stop sign. His final flashcard said: "PERIOD" and included a sticker of a huge black dot.

Explaining their reaction, he added: "They both were stunned. I asked if they get it now and my brother lost his s***.
"His wife had already grabbed her stuff and walked out. My brother called me an a***hole for doing this and said that I disrespected him, his wife and their son who's my one and only nephew. He rushed out after we argued.
"My fiancée saw the whole thing and thought that it was funny but my parents and my brother are livid beyond measure.
"They're telling everyone about the amount of disrespect and mockery I had displayed towards them and I'm being told to 'fix it' now."
While most users couldn't help but laugh at his extremely passive-aggressive method to get his point across, others shamed his brother for trying to pressure him into changing his mind about his 'no children' rule.
One user said: "Well, I suppose you could have used hand puppets instead, but flashcards seem to have gotten the message across.
"It makes me insane how some parents think their little bundle of joy should be allowed anywhere, anytime and that no never applies to them.
"It's pretty clear they were going to run this horse right up to the altar."
Another user added: "I am dying of laughter that after getting the no, the parents started sending baby pictures like that would turn the tide.
"These people have genuinely lost the plot.
"Babies are cute, we know this, but no one is that gaga over someone else's kid."
A third user said: "My cousin brought her newborn to my brother's wedding.
"The ceremony was at an Elvis chapel in Vegas and only lasted about 10 minutes.
"Want to guess how long this child was screaming his head off? If you guessed 10, you would be wrong. since he was crying well before the ceremony started!"
